Eva Bowering (she/they/he) is an Indigiqueer artist and entrepreneur based in Hamilton, Ontario, on the traditional territories of the Erie, Neutral, Huron-Wendat, Haudenosaunee, and Mississaugas, covered by the Between the Lakes Purchase (Treaty No. 3). With a deep connection to their Kahnawake-Akwesasne heritage, Eva’s work explores themes of reclamation, resilience, and cultural revitalization. Their artistic practice is rooted in storytelling, advocacy, and community care, weaving together elements of history, identity, and decolonial perspectives.
